Andy Hicks, a native of Tennessee, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University Of South Carolina Honor’s College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and minor in German. He then went on to complete his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

While working in the aluminum industry, he discovered a passion for finding usefulness in coal ash. In 2017, he founded ASH Mineral Solutions to devote his time to helping companies find value in secondary and rare earth minerals.

Andy currently resides in Knoxville, TN with his wife, three children, and three kitties.

Blake Hicks holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Support and Training Management from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s Degree in Strategic and Digital Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

She assists with the communications and digital marketing components of ASH Mineral Solutions and can provide companies with a range of communications plans to support their push for monetizing secondary and rare earth minerals.

Blake grew up in South Carolina and now lives with Andy and their children in Knoxville, TN.
